New Zealand Passports

Along with a consenting witness - who will need to sign the backs of photographs and be available to answer questions from the government over the phone - Kiwis will need the following to get a passport: proof of citizenship, proof of identity, two identical photos, application fees, and application forms (which can be obtained from a travel agent or downloaded). Fees are NZUSD 80 for an adult passport, and NZUSD 40 for those under 16. Passports should come back to applicants within about two weeks, unless you opt for the quicker “Urgent Service” (NZUSD 1607120) or “Callout Service”(NZS330/290).
