Please note that dishing dirt on another author’s work is a tender issue when writing a book, and most authors simply praise one another in a never-ending circle. As I write this, nobody has raved about me yet, so I don’t feel the obligation to rave about anybody else. Let me state at the outset that this book is published by Rough Guides, so you might want to take that into account. They certainly haven’t put the heat on me to push their books (and wouldn’t succeed if they did), but you should know the facts.
