Eurail Passes
Flexi Eurailpass: These allow a certain number of days of train travel within a two-month period: passes good for ten or fifteen travel days are currently available. The pass contains a number of boxes, one per day of travel purchased. Before you get on the train, you fill in the day’s date in a box. The pass expires when all days are used, or at the end of two months from the day of validation, even if travel days are left over. This version is good for first-class travel, and therefore expensive.
Flexi Eurailpass Youth: Exactly the same as a Flexi Eurailpass, except restricted to under-26, and second class only. Same time periods apply, and they’re much cheaper.
Eurailpass Saver: This pass gives savings to groups of two to five traveling in first class. Same time periods as Eurailpasses but fifteen percent off. It’s good value for couples and groups, but the users must travel together, so be absolutely sure your plans won’t change.
